Buzzards House is blessed with a great location, it is tucked away down wiggly Devon lanes, nestled between the Little Dart and the National Trusts’ Buzzards Woods. It is a  place to unwind and relax and for children to enjoy; surrounded by nature, amazing birdsong, fabulous gardens and orchards.

Enjoy lovely days in the huge gardens and orchards, drink sundowners on the veranda, and round the fire pit, hear the owls as the light fades and star-gaze uninterrupted skies.

Beautifully decorated and perfectly set up to host a big party of guests. We enjoyed perfect weather which really made the whole experience brilliant. Lots of garden games and hot tub. Easy to forget the outside world exists whilst you’re here.

‍"Fabulous house and host. The house was great for a get together with friends, lots of games (ping pong, croquet, badminton, board games, swing ball etc.), a hot tub and it was very well equipped with kitchen utensils/ stair gates etc.
The location is beautiful and peaceful and within walking distance of a nice pub.

"As two families of 5 with children of various ages, plus 2 dogs, we had everything we needed. The place was immaculate, beautifully decorated and we felt very welcome and at home. The kitchen had everything you would hope to find, so eating in was easy - and there was a great range of supermarkets 5 minutes away. Had we have been luckier with the weather - we definitely would have made use of the barbecue. The hot tub was a lovely, relaxing feature. The grounds are stunning with lots of lovely walks - perfect for those with dogs and children. Canonteign Falls is around 45 mins drive - absolutely recommend a visit.
All in all - a lovely, relaxing break - thank you Max for a wonderful few days."

Well equipped throughout the property and the family especially loved the games available in the garden from croquet, badminton and table tennis.
